Jägermeister was created in 1935 in Germany by Wilhelm Mast. The name "Jägermeister" means "hunter master" and the bottle logo depicts a deer with a cross, referring to the legend of St. Hubert, the patron saint of hunters. Over the years, the liqueur has gained worldwide fame and has become one of the most recognizable spirits in the world.
